Work environment in highway construction are hazardous due to the particular dynamic and limited workspace availability. Within work zones, a variety of encounters involving employees, passing cars, moving equipment exists, creating risky situations that may result injury or death. Active approaches, such as deployment intrusion detection alert devices employees maintenance transportation infrastructure, can be effective reducing these unforeseen situations. The study focus on development emergency signal system for safety workers was carried out prevent accidents danger from happening straight line by developing hazard detectors using distance sensor. Therefore, Signal Warning Detector (SWAD) sensor sensed target at certain transmitted emitted through siren device lamp mounted PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) car, while also receiver create worker vibrating vibrator motor located worker's hand. findings show commercially accessible technologies have ability improve employee health zone providing early warning vibration. This adds knowledge base offering methods collection application intruder sensing active protection zone. data produced reveals performing study, it possible find best parameter setting Danger system. farthest observed 14° angle, 2.2 meter center, 1.8 height.
